Unexplained Resource Failures in a SQL Server Cluster

One setting that can cause this on a busy SQL server cluster is the Enabling Boost SQL Server priority Option. Because this option gives SQL server higher CPU priority than some parts of the OS it can cause RHS resource checks to fail isalive calls – resulting in Cluster Resource failovers or errors.

My advice to you is to never enable this setting in a production environment.
